Amador County Sober Grad is a non-profit organization sponsored by local businesses, organizations, and community members.  Volunteers, parents, and many other valuable community partners join together every year to create something truly special for our high school students and new graduates.  We, the committee of Amador County Sober Grad, build on a spirit of togetherness while creating an event that will make memories that will last a lifetime.

Statistics show that Graduation night across the nation has proven to be one of the most dangerous times of a young person’s life, due in great part to the presence of alcohol and drugs.  Since the Sober Grad movement was established in 1985, the number of young drivers involved in alcohol-related collisions during the month of June has declined dramatically. "While teenagers make up just 6.9 percent of the total number of drivers in the United States, they account for 14 percent of all fatal vehicle-related injuries, according to Advocates for Highway and Auto Safety (AHAS).  That is why it is so important to engage with teenagers graduating from high school about the need for a sober graduation".  Sober Grad Night events are now being held for thousands of students throughout the United States. Amador County Sober Grad has been proudly putting on their event for a little over thirty five years now.  Our local Sober Grad event has become a staple for students in Amador County who wish to celebrate on graduation night. Not only do we offer students a safe, sober, supervised, and fun place to celebrate graduation night with their friends, we also provide a night that is spectacularly fun!
