WHAT IS GRAD NIGHT?
Grad Night is an exclusive, all-night event designed to provide a fun and safe environment free from alcohol, drugs and tabacco, for all Amador County High School students to celebrate together with all of their friends and classmates. For some it will just be it the next chapter in high school but for those newely graduated seniors, this is an opportunity for one last special night before moving on to the next great chapter in their lives.
WHO CAN ATTEND?
All Amador County residents who are registered High school students (grades 9-12) whether they attend public, private, home or charter school.
WHAT IS THE COST?
The Cost is $25 per person. Graduating Seniors are FREE. Seniors only may bring 1 guest. Guests must be less than 21 years of age. Guest must be accompanied by their host, present a photo I.D. and pay $25 at the gate. Once inside everything is free!!
WHEN/WHERE AND WHAT TIME DOES SOBER GRAD START?
For the 2026 graduation year, Sober Grad will be held on June 5, 2025, at the Amador County Fairgrounds in Plymouth, CA, and will begin at 8:00 pm. All attendees must be checked in by 12:00 am. No one will be admitted after midnight. NO EXCEPTIONS!
WHAT TIME DOES GRAD NIGHT END?
Grad Night ends at 2:00 am on June 6th. If you want to leave before 2:00 am you may only leave if you are over 18. If you are under 18, you may only leave before 2:00 am if you are picked up by a parent or guardian. This must be already pre-arranged with your student; NO paging students, and NO notes from parents. There are no in and out privileges, once you leave Grad Night you will not be readmitted.
Remember: Senior Prize Drawing starts at 1:30 am. You must be present to Win
DO I NEED MONEY AT THE EVENT?
No! All activities, food and entertainment are included in the price of your registration. You will be given chips to play in the Casino and you can use your winnings to purchase prizes in the casino prize area. There are also games like "money grows on trees" and bingo where you can win cash and prizes. Graduating Seniors will also be given 5 raffle tickets and 1 grand prize voucher upon entry to the event for the senior prize drawings in the special Senior Tent. Don't forget Seniors, there is $10,000 up for grabs!! YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN!!!! YOU CAN NOT HAVE SOMEONE ELSE CLAIM YOUR PRIZE!
HOW DO WE KNOW THAT THIS NIGHT IS TRULY A SUBSTANCE-FREE CELEBRATION?
Students and their bags are checked in and cleared by local Sheriff Officers prior to entering the event. There will also be the Sober Grad board personnel along with some security and other volunteer chaperones to monitor students during the event and to keep the celebration running smoothly.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO GRAD NIGHT?
Bring your cell phone (fully charged), and a sweatshirt or jacket. That’s it! There will be plenty of activities and friends to keep you busy the whole night through. This event is held at Amador County Fairgrounds and as such there will be nowhere to charge phones. Sober Grad is not responsible for any lost or broken phones.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO GRAD NIGHT?
Comfortable clothes, sneakers or closed toe, flat shoes. Bring a sweatshirt or jacket as this event is largely held outside. Attendees will be walking around, dancing, and riding rides. It gets cool as the night goes on, please dress accordingly.
HOW DO I GET PHOTOS TAKEN AT THE EVENT?
We encourage all attendees to bring cell phones, take pictures throughout the event, and share them via Instagram, tagging them with #amadorgradnight2026. Any photographs taken by Grad Night volunteers will be uploaded to Amador County Sober Grad Facebook account under Amador Sober Grad
WHEN IS THE LAST DAY TO BUY GRAD NIGHT TICKETS?
You can purchase tickets up until the night of the event online. If you are mailing in your ticket information, the deadline is May 31st
Graduating Seniors are free, but will still need to get tickets. Enter code 2026Senior where it says "Add Coupon Code" for your Free tickets.
Grades 9-11, If you register online by May 1 you can save $5 by using code 2026earlybird
Tickets can also be purchased at the Front Gate for $25 the night of the event. You will not be allowed into Grad Night unless you are on the "Paid" list.
WHERE IS THE EVENT?
Sober Grad Night 2026 will be held at the Amador County Fairgrounds at 18621 Sherwood St, Plymouth, CA. There is limited parking at the event. If you do not drive you can be dropped off at the event or Amador or Argonaut High School and take the bus to the event.

I am a Senior but have to attend summer school to graduate, Can I still attend?
Yes! However, you will NOT be given tickets to the Senior Prize Drawing or the Grand Prize Drawing
I live out of the area, Can I still attend?
If you are accompanied by an Amador County Student they may register you as their guest. Guest must register with a student host and pay $25.
My student has graduated 8th grade, can they attend?
No. Sober Grad is for High School students finishing grades 9-12
TRANSPORTATION:
Buses from both Amador and Argonaut High Schools will be running from 8:30 pm to 11:30 pm and will shuttle students to the event after graduation. Students may park or be dropped off at either high school and catch the bus. Pick up at Argonaut will be in front of the Multi Purpose Room. Pick up at Amador will be at the elementary school. Buses will also return students to both high schools after the event at 2:00 am. Buses will also provide transportation along central bus routes after the event. Talk with your bus driver if there is an issue. We want to make sure everyone gets home safe.
***NOTICE***
All students, even if you have graduated, must follow the Amador County Public Schools Code of Conduct. There is to be absolutely no fighting or intimidation of any kind, as well as no coming to Grad Night intoxicated, or possessing intoxicants of any kind at Grad Night. Any students found to be in violation will have their parents or guardian contacted, and they forfeit admission to the event.
Grad Night is a fun, safe and sober celebration for all!
How To Attend:
**Attention all Homeschool, Charter, and Independent Seniors: You must be registered by May 1st to be eligible for the $10,000 grand prize or bring proof of Attendance.
Online Registration
1.Go to www.AmadorSoberGrad.com
2. Go to "Get Tickets"
3. Scroll to bottom of page
4. Enter the number of tickets you would like
5. Enter the name and email of student
6. If you are registering a guest please enter guest in the drop down menu. Guests must register with their student host.
7. For seniors: under "Add Coupon Code" enter 2026Senior
8. Grades 9-11: If registering online before May 1 enter code 2026Earlybird
8. Finish entering information for each student and Submit
9. That's it. You will be added to the "Paid" list and your ticket will be sent to you via email.
10. Once you arrive at Sober Grad, show your ticket to the check in table, they will give you wristbands and tickets for the Casino; and for seniors; tickets and voucher for the senior prize drawing.
Purchase Tickets by Mail:
1. On a 3x5 card, Write down students First and Last Name, School of Attendance (if guest write Guest), Grade, Phone Number, Postal Address and Email Address (one card per student or guest)
2. Grades 9-11 and guests: payment is $25 (register online before May 1 for $5 off)
3. Seniors no payment is required unless you are bringing a guest. Guests are $25
4. You can send cash, check or Money Order made to Amador County Sober Grad
5. Mail to: PO Box 124, Pine Grove, CA 95642
6. Mail in payments must be postmarked no later than May 31st
7. That's it. Your name will be added to the "Paid" list.
8. Once you arrive at Sober Grad, give your name at the gate, they will give you wristbands and tickets for the Casino; and for seniors; tickets and voucher for the senior prize drawing.
***AMADOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS MAY BRING PAYMENT AND NOTECARD TO THE OFFICE AND A SOBER GRAD REPRESENITIVE WILL PICK IT UP.
